Sara Anderson Heaton

Sara Anderson Heaton, 87, of 51 Oak Street, Iva, SC, died on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Heardmont Nursing Home. Born on April 6, 1923 in Elbert County, she was the daughter of the late Sanford G. and Ollie Brown Anderson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Heaton; and brothers, Allen Anderson and Kurt Anderson. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Marcus and Diane Lesseur, Theron and Pauline Lesseur, and Marvin and Kathy Lesseur; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Irvin Hover; brother and sister-in-law, Smith and Sue Anderson; ten grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Coldwater United Methodist Church, Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Benjamin Wiles officiating. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2010 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Coldwater United Methodist Church, Elberton.Burial will follow in the Coldwater United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will be at the home of Irvin and Dorothy Hover, 2394 Far-Away Road, Elberton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Coldwater United Methodist Church.
