Sara Jane Drake Moore

Mrs. Sara 'Jane' Drake Moore, 65, of Poplar Springs Road, Elberton, wife of Donald Eugene Moore, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at Regency Hospital in Macon.

Jane was born in Elberton on June 6, 1955, daughter of the late Clark Edward Drake and Lizzie Mae Scott Drake. She was a waitress having worked a Richard's Restaurant and Bojangles.

Survivors, in addition to her husband Don, include her children: Marie and Jason Mills of Elberton, Mike and Marie Dove of Tignall, and Christy and Joey David of Elberton; step-son, Donald E. Moore, II of Hobe Sound, FL; grandchildren: Miranda, Jordan, Chloe, and Lucas; step-grandchildren: Donnie, Cassie, and Vince; great-grandchildren: Dallas and Lane; siblings: Joanne Pierce and David Drake; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings: James "Boone" Drake and Diane Plont.

Due to COVID-19, a private service honoring Jane's life will be held for the immediate family.
