Sara Francis Rosser

Mrs. Sara Francis Rosser, 80, of Elberton, GA passed awayMonday, Dec. 12, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Rosser, formerly of Toccoa, GA, was the daughter of the late Henry William and Minnie Lee Wills Tucker.She has been married to her beloved husband, Joseph Henry Rosser for more than 55 years.Mrs. Rosser was a retired CNA and a member of Eastern Star.She was an avid reader,a great cook,and loved beautiful flowers.She had a special love for her family and for helping people. Mrs. Rosser is survived by her husband, Joseph Henry Rosser;2 daughters: Donna Mercer (Tim), and Barbara Shockley, each of Elberton;and 2 granddaughters:Andrea Mercer and Krista Shockley.She also leaves behind a sister, Nell Cole of Toccoa, GA, and special nieces and nephews.Mrs. Rosser was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Williams. A service to celebrate Mrs. Rosser’s life will be Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 3:00 p.m.at Harmony Baptist Church.Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 p.m. just prior to the service.Interment will be at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.
