Mrs. Sarah Eugene Dye, 61, of Elberton, GA passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.

Sarah was born on July 27, 1960, in Elberton, GA. She attended Bethel Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by her mother, Donia Mae Davis of Elberton, GA; she leaves to mourn one daughter Sheena C. Davis of Elberton; special nephew/son, Mecole Hardman, Jr. of Overland Park, KS: sisters: Mae Hardman, Ernestine Davis, Diane Burton, Marlene Burton, and Vanessa (Steve) Perrin, Dorothy Coleman, and Debra Burton, all of Elberton, GA; brothers: Woodrow Davis, Lorenzo Burton, and Wyles (Diane) Burton, all of Elberton, GA; uncle, Willie (Gussie) Davis of Elberton, GA; aunt, Elnora Davis of Elberton, GA; brother-in-law, Robert (Orabell) Hamm of Elberton, GA; sister-in-law, Janice Sapp of Elberton, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Dye; and father, Wyles Burton.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Sunday, February 6, at 2 o’clock at Bethel Grove Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
