Sarah Frances Parnell

Sarah Frances Parnell, 91, of Pelzer, SC, died Friday, November 30, 2012, at Diamond Health & Rehab of Simpsonville. Miss Parnell was born in Elbert County, June 6, 1921, to the late Alvin Swift Mathis Parnell and Sallie Jane Driver Parnell. She was a retired Spinner from Burlington Mills in Calhoun Falls and was a member of Living Sanctuary of Powersville, SC. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Mary Ann Propes of Pelzer; siblings, Arnold Parnell of Homer, GA, Mildred Winslett of Dewy Rose, GA, Elizabeth Rousey of Greenwood, SC, Jean Massey of Meridian, Mississippi, and Shirley Propes of Greenville, SC. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sisters, Reba Drake and Juanita Massey. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 2PM Monday, December 3, in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Revs. Duree Propes and Caleb Howard officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot of Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 1-2PM Monday.
