Mrs. Sarah ‘Louise’ Dye Wragg, 84, of Porter Drive, Elberton, wife of the late Jerry Wragg, III, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020, at her residence.
Mrs. Wragg was born in Elberton on November 29, 1935, daughter of the late Eddie Dye, Sr. and Fannie Mae Martin Carter. At an early age she realized the need for divine guidance and joined New Era Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children: Evelyn Louise Woodgett of Anderson, SC and Cassandra Lynn Wragg Rambert and her husband Hakim Anthony Rambert of Elberton; sister: Nancy Carter, brother: Gregory Carter, grandchildren: Laleta Woodgett, Lasandra Aiken, Lindsay Woodgett, Trenton and Ansley Perrin, and Lajordan Plummer; great-grandchildren: Ayanna Woodgett, Monique Woodgett, Jalen Woodgett, Maliyah Williams, Shelton Williams, III, Zyan Aiken, and Cameron Aiken; nieces: Kawanna Carter, Tasena Carter, Connie Dye, Sharon Dye, Crystal Carter and nephews: Rodney Carter and Leon Carter.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her children the Wragg Twins, siblings: Barbara Carter, Frankie Carter, Eddie Dye, Jr. Moses Carter and Douglas Carter.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, August 30, at 2 o’clock at Lincoln Heights Cemetery with the Rev. Jaamal Rambert officiating.
The family is at the residence, 1044 Porter Drive in Elberton.
