Sheri Ruth Hunt Claypoole

Mrs. Sheri Ruth Hunt Claypoole went home to be with the Lord Monday, December 13,2021. Mrs. Claypoole was born on May 17,1949. She was preceded in death by both parents, Norris & Sarah Hunt; a brother, Chuck Hunt; a son, James Shook and a grandson, Caleb Shook. Survivors include two sisters, Irene Hunt and MaryJane Caldwell; and a brother, John Hunt, all of Pennsylvania. Five additional children, Matt (Katrina) Shook of Danielsville Ga, Mike and John Shook of Pennsylvania, Stacey Snyder of Danielsville, GA, and Jake Shook of Commerce, GA. Eighteen grandchildren with one on the way. Nineteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She lived with her son Matt; granddaughters Jaime Lee and Patti; great granddaughter Taylor and daughter Stacey. Mrs. Sheri Claypoole enjoyed car rides, going to the beach, cookouts, and spending time with family. According to her wishes a cremation will take place immediately. A Memorial service will be planned at a later date. Arrangements for Mrs. Sheri Ruth Hunt Claypoole were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
