Shirley Rose Mcelroy

Mrs. Shirley Rose Hall McElroy, 79, of Hull, GA passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mrs. McElroy was born August 15, 1936 in Royston, GA to the late James Pink Hall and Della Floy Scarborough Hall. She was a retired seamstress from the textile industry. Left to cherish her memories are sons and daughter-in-law Robin McElroy of Watkinsville, GA, Bobby and Pam McElroy of Crawford, GA, daughters Kim Hayes of Nicholson, GA, Stacey McElroy of Athens, GA, Debora Hall of Watkinsville, GA, brother Loyce Hall of Monroe, GA, grandchildren Trent McElroy, Amanda and Craig Mauldin, Dylan McElroy, Samantha McElroy, Zoe Ramsey, Garrett Hayes, Zachory Taylor, Wesley McElroy and two great-grandchildren Taylor and Charleigh Mauldin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by ten siblings, a son Dennis McElroy and a granddaughter Ginger McElroy. Mrs. McElroy's wishes were to be cremated and memorial services to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. The family has requested in lieu of flowers to make memorials in her honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
