Susan Blanche Adams

Mrs. Susan Blanche Reagin Adams, age 78 of Elberton, GA, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Adams was born in Elberton, Georgia to the late Henry Coe Reagin, Sr. and Fannie Sue Brown Reagin. She was the bride of Mr. Ralph Harvey Adams, with whom she would have soon celebrated 60 years of marriage.Mrs. Adams retired from Southeastern Power where she worked as a secretary and billing clerk.She was a faithful member of Coldwater United Methodist Church, and served there as Treasurer for several years. In addition to her husband, Ralph Adams, Mrs. Adams is survived by a son, Gary Adams and wife, Michelle; and two grandchildren, Cameron Adams and Callie Adams.She is also survived by her sister, Connie Reagin Sayer of Clarkesville; a sister-in-law, Emily Smith of Elberton; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Adams was also preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Elaine Adams, and two brothers, Henry Coe Reagin, Jr. and Raymond F. Reagin. A service to celebrate Mrs. Adams’ life was held on Saturday, Nov. 6 at 2:00 p.m. at Coldwater United Methodist Church, with Rev. Richard Jarvis officiating. Mrs. Adams lay in state for an hour prior to the service.Interment was in the church cemetery.A time of visitation for family and friends was held Friday evening, November 5th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Flowers were graciously accepted, and memorial contributions may be made to Coldwater UMC Cemetery Fund at 1753 Coldwater Rd., Elberton, GA 30635. Arrangements for Mrs. Susan Blanche Adams were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
