Susan Elaine Mcfarlin

Mrs. Susan Elaine McFarlin, 70, of Buford, GA died Friday, April 1, 2016 at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth after her short battle with cancer.

She was born in Elberton, GA on February 23, 1946.

Surviving are her two daughters, Kelly Monteen McKellar (Daniel Scott) of Bethlehem and Tonya Dawn McFarlin of Monticello; daughter-in-law Terry Scott McFarlin of Buford, two granddaughters Katelyn Monteen McFarlin and Angelica Blanche Lancaster; a great-grandson, Aiden Warren Kline; two sisters Linda Busby (Jack) of Elberton and Connie Meiners (Mark) of Carrollton, TX, and several nieces and nephews.

Susan's father and mother, Hugh and Blanche Scoggins, brother Douglas Scoggins, son Kevin Warren McFarlin preceded her in death.

Susan loved to read and do her word puzzles. She loved spending time with her family and playing jokes on everyone. Her sense of humor was uncanny and she will be missed greatly by all.

She was a long timed resident of the Atlanta area.

Visitation is from 11AM until 1PM on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Wages and Sons Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. The service will begin at 1PM with Pastor Paul Frevele officiating. Burial will be at Broadlawn Cemetery in Buford.
