Susan Lynn Hill

Lynn Hill, 61, of 302 Pembroke Circle, Elberton, entered into eternal rest Sunday, January 2, 2011, in the Athens Regional Medical Center. The only child of Frances McCaslan Hill and the late Claude Lee Hill, Lynn was born November 16, 1949, in Elbert County. She was a member of the Francis Asbury United Methodist Church and was employed with the Elbert County Board of Education for 25 years as Payroll Clerk. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery and Judy Goff of Tampa, Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Kevin "Fluff" Johnson of Elberton; mother, Frances McCaslan Hill of Elberton; and grandchildren, Blake Turner of Elberton and Cody Goff of Tampa, Florida. Lynn was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend. Memorial Services will be held at 2PM Tuesday, January 4, 2011, at the Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home with Reverends Kenneth Deitle, Luther Mahoney, and Calvin Ward officiating. In accordance to Lynn's wishes, her body has been cremated and inurnment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park at a later date. The family will be at the home, 302 Pembroke Circle, Elberton, and will receive friends from 1-2PM Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Francis Asbury United Methodist Church, 1016 Ruckersville Road, Elberton, Georgia 30635 or to the T.J. & Friends Foundation, 1675 Deep Creek Road, Dewy Rose, Georgia 30634 in her honor.
