Susan Roberts

Susan Roberts, age 81, passed away Friday, January 27, 2023 at her residence following an extended illness. Susan was raised in Elberton and was born to the late Charles E. Roberts and Frances Ridgeway Roberts. Susan loved teaching and she taught in the elementary and middle schools of Greenwood District 50. Loving to learn herself, she enjoyed reading her Bible and researching the scriptures. Susan will be remembered for her unique personality, her love of children, and her love of the Lord. She is survived by her two children, Cliff Pukerson and Lisa Humphreys; sister and brothers, Betty Payne, Ed Roberts, and Sonny Roberts; and several nieces and nephews. Susan will be laid to rest next to her mother at Elmhurst Cemetery and no public services will be held.
