Tam Minh Tran

Tam Minh Tran, 43, of Carlton, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022, at St. Mary’s Hospice House in Watkinsville following a two year battle with breast cancer.

Born in Saigon, Vietnam, she was the former owner/operator of a nail salon and currently owned and operated a poultry farm with her family. She received her associates degree in communications. Tam was a loving daughter, sister, wife, and mother who was devoted to her family. She enjoyed food of all kinds and traveling. She and her family attended both St. Mary's and Sacred Heart Catholic Churches.

Survivors include her husband, Hoai Son Pham of Carlton; daughters: Donna Pham of Massachusetts and Alina Pham of Carlton; parents: Ve Van Tran and Bich Van Tran, both of Massachusetts; siblings: Tuyen Tran of Massachusetts, Anh Tran of Alaska, and Christine Tran of Massachusetts; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 20, from 3:00-6:00p.m. at Berry Funeral Home, 1265 Washington Highway, Elberton. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 21, at 2 o’clock at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 155 Forest Avenue, Elberton. Final rites will be conducted at Berry Crematory following the mass.
