Tammi Lynn Barker

Tammi Smith Barker, wife of James (Jimmy) Millard Barker, III died May 20, 2011 at her home. Tammi was a loving wife, mother, daughter, daughter-in-law and friend.She was an honor graduate of the University of Georgia where she received her Masters and Specialist degrees.She taught Business Education at Madison County High School.She was a lifelong member of Falling Creek Baptist Church and was a Sunday School teacher for the True Blue Sunday School Class. She is survived by her husband; James Millard Barker, III, children; James Millard Barker, IV (Miles) and Elizabeth Addison Barker; parents, Junious Marion (Pete) And Dorothy (Dottie) Smith; mother-in-law, Anne Marie Dixon Jaudon and step-father-in-law, Henry Scudder Jaudon. Flowers are optional, and donations may be sent to Tammi’s children for a scholarship fund c/o Pinnacle Bank or donations to TJ& Friends Foundation. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, May 22, 2011 at 3 p.m. at Falling Creek Baptist Church. Visitation will be Sunday, May 22, 2011, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Falling Creek Baptist Church.
