Ted Wilber Williams

Mr. Ted Wilber Williams, 77, of N. Broad Street, Bowman, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Ted was born in Bowman on April 22, 1945, son of the late Willie Warren Williams and Hilda Bryant Williams. The family grew up attending Rehoboth Baptist Church. Ted was an avid motorcyclist with a special love of Harley-Davidsons. He enjoyed being outside in nature, especially hunting, feeding deer, and taking trips to the mountains. His great sense of humor and joke-telling ability will be forever remembered.

Survivors include his significant other, Shirley Moulder; children: Ted Steven Williams of Hull, Byron Keith Williams of New Market, TN, Gregory Kim and Tammy Hobbs of Franklin Springs, and Tonya Black Boggs of Anderson; siblings: Betty Ann and Harold Parker and Herron and Kathy Williams, all of Bowman; sister-in-law, Linda Williams of Bowman; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Billy Williams.

Ted’s life will be celebrated privately with the family.
