Tequila Cecile Drinkard Mize

Mrs. Tequila Cecile Drinkard Mize, 42, wife of Pierce Mize, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at her residence. 

Mrs. Mize was born December 17, 1982 in Elberton, GA. She was of the Christian Faith and was baptized at Amazing Grace Missionary Baptist Church. She was previously employed at Bojangles of Elberton before retiring due to her health from Nancy Hart Nursing Home where she worked in the cafeteria. 

She is survived by her husband: Pierce Mize; son: Jamal Gaines; sibling: Laprel Partlow; aunts: Sarah Blackwell, Brenda Fortson; uncle: John Drinkard and numerous other family members.

She was preceded in death by her mother Sharon Elaine Drinkard and grandmother: Janie Lee Drinkard.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held 2PM, Monday, March 17 in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:30PM to 2PM just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home.
