Teresa Faye Russell

Mrs. Teresa Faye Adams Russell, 54, of Herring Dr., Comer, GA wife of Roy Russell passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Russell was born December 4, 1961 in Commerce, GA to the late William G. Adams and Evelyn Fortson Adams. She was a homemaker and attended Amazing Grace Baptist Church.

Teresa is survived by her husband Roy Russell; son Lance Aaron Russell of Crawford, GA; daughter Angie Russell Matthews of Comer, GA; step-daughter Krista Etheredge of Winterville, GA; step-son Shane Russell of Watson Mill; sister Robin Adams of Hartwell, GA; and grandchildren Justice, Evan, Carrie, Jacob, Caleb, Chase and Haley.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Charles Adams, Ronnie Adams, Dale Adams and a sister Linda Brookes.

Funeral services to celebrate Teresa's life will be held 2PM, Tuesday July 19, 2016 at Vineyards Creek Baptist Church. The body will be placed in the church at 1PM to lie in state till the hour of the service. Interment will follow in Paoli-New Hope Presbyterian Cemetery with Shane Russell, Tony Russell, Jody Russell, Brent Russell, Brad Russell and Evan Etheredge serving as pallbearers. The family will be at the home of Roy's sister 176 Herring Dr., Comer, GA and will receive friends from 6-8PM Monday night at Berry Funeral Home.
