Terry Harrison

Clyde Terrance "Terry" Harrison, 66, of Elberton, formerly of Vesta Community, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013, at Athens Regional Medical Center. Born in Oglethorpe County, April 6, 1946, he was a son of the late Henry Isaac and Annie Ruth Holloman Harrison. He attended Dewy Rose Baptist Church, was a former member of Vesta Baptist Church, and was a retired HVAC technician. Surviving are best friend, Judy Jones Adams of the home; children, Denise & John Cartee of Colbert, Dwayne Harrison of Vesta, Melissa & Armando Martinez of Colbert, Andrew Harrison of Minnesota, Rachel Harrison of New York, and Ariella Harrison of New Jersey; siblings, Ronnie Harrison of Winterville, Ann Jones and Linda Bell, both of Vesta; two grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00PM Wednesday, January 9, in the Vesta Baptist Church with the Revs. Russell Bruce and Kenny Martin officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Harrison will be placed in the church at 1:00PM. The family is at the home of Bud & Linda Bell, 2769 Elberton Road, Carlton, and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00PM Tuesday evening.
