Terry Mark Johnson

Mr. Terry Mark "TJ" Johnson, 53, of 2363 Washington Hwy, Elberton GA, died Friday, January 01, 2010 at his home. Born in Anderson Co. SC, he was the son of Libby Hill Johnson and the late Bennie Max Johnson. TJ was a former member of the Elbert County EMS and Hart Co. EMS and served as a first responder for both. He was former Vice-President of Whitlow Electric Co, former employee of Star Granite and was a member of the Elberton First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his mother, Libby Hill Johnson of Hartwell; wife, Angela Smith Johnson of the home; a daughter, Ande Rae Johnson of the home; a son, Benne Max Johnson of the home; a sister, Joy Shaw of Hartwell and two brothers, Tony Johnson of Hartwell and Barney Johnson of Franklin Springs also survive. A service honoring the memory of TJ’s life will be held on Saturday, January 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the Elberton First United Methodist Church with Rev. Wayne Smith and Rev. Gary Purvis officiating. The following people have been asked to be honorary pallbearers: Darren Scarborough, Steve Higginbotham, Mike Webb, Keith Scarborough, Chuck Almond, Blake Thompson, Randy Lane, Kyle Scarborough, Josh Fowler, Jimmy Gunter, Mark Adams, Ricky Johnson, Galen Mills, Frankie Teasley, Dr. Wiggans, Dr. Haley, Terri Glaude, Nancy Seymour, Terri Seymour, Pam Gunter, Lee Pulliam, and the Elbert Memorial Hospital Operating Room Staff.
