Terry Lamar Segars

Mr. Terry Lamar Segars, 63, of Bond Avenue, Canon, GA, husband of Brenda Childs Segars, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016, at his home.

Mr. Segars was born December 25, 1952, in Royston, GA, son of the late John N. Segars and Rosalie Smith Segars. He was a member Canon Church of God and was retired from the City of Canon Water Department.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Childs Segars; son, Manuel Mays and his wife Hilary of Franklin Springs, GA; daughters: Jennifer Rose Segars of Canon, GA, and Brandy Nicole Segars of Toccoa, GA; step-daughter, Kelly Ferrell of Royston, GA; brothers: Danny Segars and Johnny Segars, both of Lavonia, GA, and Gary Segars, Mark Segars, and Jerry Segars, all of Nuberg, GA; grandchildren: Hannah Page Duncanson, Billy Lamar Holbrook, and Jazlin Rose Segars; and step-grandchildren Alexandria Ferrell, Andrew Ferrell, and Skylar Johnson.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers: Randall Segars and Bobby Segars and a grandson, Justin Duncanson.

At Lamar's request, no services will be held.
