Terry Eugene Willis

Mr. Terry Eugene Willis, 63, of Helwals Rd. Iva, SC passed away Thursday August 17, 2023.

Mr. Willis was born December 21, 1959 in Elberton, GA to Thomas Eugene “Gene” Willis and Helen Gaines Chapman. He was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and was a retired fixer in the textile industry. Terry was a very outgoing gentle giant with the most gentle soul. 

He is survived by his children and their spouses: Darrell Willis of Anderson, SC, Tina Willis of Anderson, SC, Crystal and Justin Colvard of Elberton, GA, Tim and Jessica Willis of Hartwell, GA, step-daughter: Ashley Endicott; mother: Helen Gaines Chapman of Starr, SC; step-sisters: Teresa Bagwell of Greer, SC, Cynthia Bowers of Starr, SC and grandchildren: Christopher, Jonathan, Abigail, Haven, Logan, Layla and Chevy.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his wife: Cynthia Lynn Berdan Willis; brothers: Danny Thomas Willis, Timothy W. Willis and his step-father: Davie Chapman.

Private family graveside funeral services to celebrate his life will be held at Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Richard Jarvis officiating. The family will receive friends from 2PM to 4PM Sunday, August 20 at Berry Funeral Home.
