Thaddeus Charles “Tadd” Reese of Greensboro, GA, unexpectedly passed away peacefully on May 26, 2020. He was born April 14, 1988, the youngest of six siblings.
Born and raised in Morgan County GA, he was the son of Sammy and Vicky Reese of Good Hope. Tadd graduated from Morgan County High School in 2006 and worked in graphic design, as well as in the hospitality industry in Madison and at Lake Oconee. He always loved being in the kitchen and on the grill from a young age.
An important part of his life was being a Boy Scout for almost ten years with his parents serving as his leader. He continued to enjoy camping, knot tying, and hunting with bows and firearms. Continuing to use skills he learned from his years as a Scout made him a friend others enjoyed being around.
Tadd, who never met a stranger and was a friend to all, was a talented artist and musician that loved folk/Americana music. His kind soul blessed those who knew him and inspired people to live a better life. Described by his sister as a goofball, he was happy and enjoyed making folks laugh. His infectious smile could almost make his siblings forgive him when he told everyone he was the tallest and best looking of all the siblings.
Tadd loved to talk more than listen and was known for his catchphrase, “fair enough,” that was inserted into most conversations. He was usually happy, always kind, and showed love to his family and friends on a scale that far outweighs the hearts of most.
Tadd, a beloved son and brother, is survived by his parents and five siblings: Jill and Claudio Zamudio of Madison, GA; Jody Reese and Ryan Stokesbary of Panama City, FL ; Shannon and David Stone of Greensboro, GA; Jacob Reese of Goose Creek, SC, and Amanda Reese of Good Hope, GA. He also leaves eight nieces and nephews that loved him very much. His nephew that will soon arrive from Heaven will love him through the family stories sure to be told with a smile. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Guy and Betty Reese of Lawrenceville, GA, and Clifford and Marjorie Dowd of Lilburn, GA.
Though losing someone so dear is heart-breaking and leaves a hole in the lives of family and friends, the family wishes to express appreciation for all the kind deeds that have been shared.
A Celebration of Tadd’s Life will be held at a later date at which time an announcement of a favorite charity for donations will be made. Until then, do all you can to leave a positive impact on our world. Make each moment count. That is a legacy that would spark that infectious smile for which Tadd will always be remembered.
Friends are encouraged to share their favorite memories and photos on Tadd’s Tribute Wall at www.berryfh.com.
Berry Funeral Home of Elberton is in charge of arrangements.
