Theodore "Ted" Traskos

Mr. Theodore Stanley “Ted” Traskos, 86, of Elberton, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019, at AnMed Health Medical Center surrounded by his family.

Ted was born in Detroit, MI on April 10, 1932, son of the late Theodore A. and Hula Bolt Traskos. He was a dry wall finisher and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He served his country in the U.S. Marines and was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his daughter, Lynne Marie Orestis; step-son, Tom Clinton; granddaughters: Joni and Wayne Richards, Kim and Allen Frederick, Tina and George Petrik, Amy, and Kristi; niece, Pat and Michael Guciardo; special friends, Ronnie and Kerri Young and Brandi Black; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wives: Amelia “Sis” Traskos and Mary Jean Wong Rosillo; and two sisters: Shirley and Jenny.

Funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 15, at 11:30a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Rafael Castano as celebrant. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday evening, February 14, from 6:00-8:00p.m. at Berry Funeral Home.
