Theresa Bolton Heard, Michael Tate, & Patricia Curreton tragically passed away together on Saturday, November 11, 2023, in a house fire.
Pastor Theresa Ann Bolton was born on January 2, 1959, in Elberton GA to Raymond Bolton and Lucy Mae Bolton.
She graduated from Elbert County High School in 1977. She attended Anderson College in Anderson, SC, where she met and married the late Clarence Bobby Tate, Jr., with whom she had two children: Michael P. Tate and Laura T. Tate. After the passing of her mother in 2007, she became the Pastor of St. Mark New Life Holiness Church in Elberton where she served faithfully until the morning of her passing.
She leaves behind her only daughter: Laura Tate-Mairs; her three grandchildren: Descendant Alora-Theresa Mairs, Lenford Augustus Mairs, Jr. I, and Hailey Lucy Mairs; her brothers: Ronald Bolton, Michael Bolton, and Junior Lee Cureton; sisters: Ruby Nell Sheats, Mary Sue Howell, Linda Gail Cureton; her late sister: Patricia Ann Cureton; and her nephews: Lamarcus Cureton and Howard Tarell Owens.
Always close to her heart are Patrick Johnson, Donald Davis, and Rodessa Bolton, who she loved and cared for faithfully.

Michael Pernell Tate was born on December 27, 1979 in Elberton GA to Theresa Ann Bolton and Clarence Bobby Tate Jr.
He graduated from Elbert County Comprehensive High School. He faithfully attended St. Mark New Life Holiness Church in Elberton, GA where he played the drums and sang and danced for the Lord.
He leaves to mourn his sister: Laura T. Tate-Mairs; and a host of friends and family.
Michael Tate is the inspiration behind the non profit organization Michael's Meet up for Autism and he will be forever missed.

Patricia Cureton was born on December 3, in Oglethorpe Coubnty, GA. She graduated from Elbert County Comprehensive High School. Patricia loved church and being with her family.
She leaves to mourn her twin brother, Junior Cureton; sisters: Ruby Nell Sheats, Mary Sue Howell, and Linda Gail Cureton; and her nephews: Lemarcus Cureton and Howard Owen.

A memorial service celebrating their lives will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 3:00p.m. at St. Mark Pentecostal New Life Ministries.
