Thomas Alton Childs

Survivors include his wife of 76 years Alice Ruth Scott Childs, daughters Faye Mills, Carolyn E. "Liz" Jones, Nona Churney, and Sandra Eckstein, sons Billy Childs, and Tom Childs, 24 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and a number of great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 5, at 3PM at Woodlawn United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 1-3PM just prior to the service at Woodlawn United Methodist Church. The family has requested in lieu of flowers please make memorials in his honor to Woodlawn United Methodist Church Building Fund.
