Thomas Eugene Johnson

Mr. Thomas Eugene Johnson, 77, of Highland Dr. Elberton husband of Rebecca Brown Johnson passed away Friday, October 28, 2016 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Johnson was born December 26, 1938 in Elberton, GA to Ralph Johnson and Janie Lee Davis Johnson. He was a member of Elberton Church of God and was a retired truck driver.

Survivors include his wife Rebecca Brown Johnson; sons Robin D. Johnson and Charles Eugene Johnson both of Elberton; siblings Alvin Johnson, Vera Johnson Ingram, Helen Johnson and Betty Ivester all of Elberton; grandchildren Jeremy Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Jennifer Johnson, Isiah Johnson and Tina Marie Teasley and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Cecil Johnson and sister Frances Davis.

Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held 2PM, Wednesday November 2 in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. James Gunn officiating. Interment will be in Elmhurst Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Tuesday night at Berry Funeral Home.
