Thomas Hall Gaines

Mr. Thomas Hall Gaines, 77, of Lilburn Stone Mountain Rd., Lilburn, GA husband of the late Barbara Ann Olver Gaines passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Eastside Medical Center.

Mr. Gaines was born January 24, 1940 in Charleston, SC to Mary O. Gaines. He was of the Christian faith, a U.S. Navy Veteran and was a retired welder. After retirement he worked on boats at the Marina on Lake Lanier.

He is survived by granddaughters: Teresa Thompson of Locust Grove, GA, Brittany Thompson of Snellville, GA; cousins and their spouses: Mary and James Turner and Mildred and Wayne Mullenix all of Elberton, GA.

In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a son: Hiram Gaines.

Graveside funeral services will be held 12PM, Friday, September 29 at Ruckersville United Methodist Church.
