Thomas Lee Moon, Jr.

Mr. Thomas Lee Moon, Jr., 64, of Elberton, husband of Portia Williams Moon, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024, at his residence. 

Mr. Moon was born in Elberton on June 24, 1960, son of Clara Perrin Moon and the late Thomas Lee Moon, Sr. He was a crane operator having worked in the granite industry.

Surviving, along with his wife and mother, are his son, Demetrius Moon; daughter, Tawana Moon; step-children: Rafeal Williams, Nysha Williams, and Anisha Williams; siblings: Christopher Columbus Moon, Monty Pleasant Moon, Doris (J.C.) Jones, and Donna Lynn Jones; special grandson, Daraltae Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. 

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother, Patrick Revere Moon; and brother-in-law, Timothy Jones. 

Funeral services celebrating his life will be conducted on Friday, December 27, at 1:00p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church cemetery. 

Public viewing will begin at 11:30a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
