Thomas "Tommy" Daniel Beard

Mr. Thomas "Tommy" Daniel Beard, 66, of South Jefferson Street, Washington, GA husband of Betty Burgess Beard passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at his home. Mr. Beard was born February 19, 1948 in Wilkes County to the late H.A. Beard and Mary Haney Beard. He was a member of Cliffords Grove Baptist Church of Washington, GA and was a retired surveyor with the Department of Transportation. Left to cherish his memories are his wife Betty Burgess Beard of the home; son Tom Beard of Washington, GA; daughter and son-in-law Mary Katherine Dyson and Jason Dyson of Washington, GA; and two granddaughters Maci and Lacey Dyson.
