Mr. Timothy Adams “Tim” Wilhite, 65, of Jones Ferry Road, Elberton, entered into his final resting place on Friday, June 29, 2018, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens. He is now reunited in heaven with his wife of 37 years, Anne Ray Wilhite; father, James Thomas Wilhite, Sr.; mother, Jane Adams Wilhite; brother, James Thomas Wilhite, Jr.; and nephew, Kyle Daniel Wilhite.
“The Timberwolf” graduated Elbert County High School with the Class of 1971 and proudly entered into the US Marine Corps. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Elberton and the Dan McAvoy Sunday School Class.
Survivors include a son, Josh Wilhite; daughter and son-in-law, Jodie and David Baston; granddaughter, Willow Jane Baston; grandson, Tuck Paul Baston; and nephews: Clint Wilhite and Reid Wilhite.
Services celebrating his life will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2018, which would’ve been Tim & Anne’s 42nd wedding anniversary. Visitation will begin at 3 o’clock in the Fellowship Hall at First Baptist Church with the service following in the church sanctuary at 4 o’clock.
The family is at the residence of Jodie and David Baston, Chastain Road, Elberton.
