Timothy Barnes

Mr. Timothy Wayne Barnes, age 61, entered into rest on Sunday, February 20, 2022 under the care of St. Mary’s Hospice. Tim was born and raised in Elberton.He never turned down an opportunity to throw his line in the water, but above all he loved his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis Barnes and Patricia Wilder Barnes; and his brother, Bruce Barnes. Tim is survived by his children, Kim Barnes, Amanda Barnes, and Jeremy Deitle; wife, Cindy Barnes; and sister, Barbara Trexler.Pop Tim’s pride and joy was his grandson “the boy,” Levi Otis Barnes.. Arrangements for Mr. Timothy Wayne Barnes were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
