Tina Marie Nash Ferrell

Mrs. Tina Marie Nash Ferrell, age 58, peacefully left this life way too soon on Friday, February 5, 2021, at her residence while surrounded by her family following a courageous three year battle with cancer.

Tina was born in Elberton on February 20, 1962, daughter of Sue Ernestine Edwards Nash and the late Edward Krell “Sonny” Nash. She was a 1980 graduate of Elbert County High School and furthered her education at Anderson University and Lander College. Tina was secretary/treasurer of the family business, R&B Maintenance, and was a member of Elberton Christian Church.

In June of this year, Tina would have celebrated her 40th anniversary with her devoted husband, Dennis Reid Ferrell. She was extremely proud of their blessings, Katie Sue and Dennis Cole. “MaTini” was happiest when surrounded by her grandchildren, being outdoors at the beach and on the boat at the lake, and of course, always enjoyed a good shopping trip.

She leaves behind her husband, Reid; children: Cole and Breanne Ferrell, and Katie Ferrell and Branyon Thompson; grandchildren: Kamryn Bailey Webb, Kamille Marie Webb, Carter Rebecca Ferrell, and Rylee Sue Ferrell; mother, Sue Nash; brother, Mark and Leigh Nash; and friends and extended family members too numerous to name.

Memorial services celebrating Tina’s life will be held on Sunday, February 7, at 3:30p.m. at Elberton Christian Church with the Revs. Rick Cox and Jay Akin officiating. Interment will be private in Forest Hills Memorial Park.

The family is at the residence and will greet friends at the church immediately following the service.
