Mr. Willis 'Todd' Snider, 55, of 408 Grogan Circle, Elberton, husband of 32 years to Angela Biggerstaff Snider, finished his course in faith on Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Gentiva Hospice at Athens Regional Medical Center. Todd was born in Rome, Georgia on November 4, 1960, to Dorothy Christine Holloway Snider of Lincolnton and the late Ralph Willis Snider. He graduated from Lincoln County High School in 1978 and attended Emmanuel College. He transferred to the University of Georgia and graduated from there in 1982 with a Bachelors in Special Education. Todd was a insurance agent having worked with Horace Mann Insurance for 29 years. He was a member of Elberton Pentecostal Holiness Church where he was a Sunday School teacher, youth worker, and former Deacon. He was a dedicated volunteer for Camp Newford. An avid outdoorsman, Todd loved fishing, hunting, and antiquing. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Angela, of the home; daughters: Hannah Snider Hauge and her husband Donavan and Holly Snider, all of Athens; mother, Dorothy Christine Holloway Snider of Lincolnton; brothers and their wives: Rollins and Marie Snider of Roswell, Mike Snider of Cleveland, and Steve and Robin Snider of Covington; sisters-in-law and their husbands: Renay and Rickey Miller of Edgefield, SC, Beverly Turner of Augusta, and Rosalyn and Randal Berlin of Martinez; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, February 6, at 1:00p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Elberton with the Revs. Steve Snider and Jimmy Bryan officiating. Graveside services will follow at 4:00p.m. at the Martins Crossroads Holiness Church Cemetery in Lincolnton. Todd will lie instate for one hour prior to the service. The family is at the residence and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00p.m. on Friday evening.
