Tommy Clifton Hall, 62, of Dyersburg, TN, died Monday, January 9, 2012 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, TN. He was a retired First Sergeant and Vietnam Veteran with the U.S. Army, where he served for 21 years and a member of Springhill Baptist Church in Dyersburg, TN. Survivors include his wife, Lynn Hall of Dyersburg; three daughters, Ginger Yvonne Hadden and husband, Michael, of Alabaster, AL, J. Frances McCoy and husband, Travis, of Navarre, FL and Leah Nicole Heathman and husband, Matthew, of Travelers Rest, S.C.; two sons, William Thomas Hall and John Walter Hall, both of Dyersburg; two sisters, Nancy Fortner of Due West, S.C. and Becky Smith and husband, Mitch, of Elberton, GA; two brothers, William "Bill" Hall and wife, Judy, of Hartwell, GA and Charles Fleming of Athens; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Purcell and Adelaide Smoak Hall. Services to celebrate his life will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Crews and the Rev. Jim Branscum officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery in Bowman, Georgia. The family requests that memorials be directed to the Wounded Warriors Project, 4899 Belfort Road Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256. Berry Funeral Home and Crematory, Elberton, is respectfully in charge of local arrangements for Tommy Clifton Hall.
