Tyree Shernard "Pete" Harper

Mr. Tyree Shernard "Pete" Harper, 41, of S. Oliver Street, Elberton, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Mr. Harper was born on February 8, 1979, in Royston, GA to James Harper and Florine Willis Harper. He was a former saw operator in the granite industry at Geneva Granite Company.

He is survived by his children: Tavius Adams and Nia Adams, both of Dewy Rose, GA; brothers: Ryan Huff, Tyrone Harper, James Harper, Christopher Walton, and James Edward Harper; sisters: Cornelia Ardister, Jamie Jones, and Anita Walton; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held 2PM on Sunday, September 27, 2020, in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Pastor Henry Butler officiating.

The family will be at the home of his sister Jamie Jones, 349 Fountain Street, Elberton, GA.

The family will receive friends and family Friday night from 6PM-8PM at Berry Funeral Home.
