Mr. Victor Thomas Hulme, 90, formerly of Elberton, passed away Saturday morning, March 22, 2014 at Clearview Regional Medical Center in Monroe, Georgia. Mr. Vic was born in Elbert County to the late James Madison and Victoria Burdette Hulme.He was preceded in death by his precious wife of 67 years, Mrs. Elizabeth Seymour Hulme.Mr. Vic worked as a plant supervisor at Precision Paint Company. He was a veteran of the United States Navy,and was a faithful member ofDewy Rose Baptist Church. Mr. Vic is survived by his daughters, Miriam Marks of Lawrenceville,and Wynna Bouldin and her husband, Ray,of Taft, Tennessee;grandchildren: Colleen Marks of Jefferson, Bryan Flannery (Jennifer) of Woodstock,Matthew Flannery of Jefferson, Chris Fitzgerald of Huntsville, AL, and Daniela Peele (Brian) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL;nine great-grandchildren;and two great-great-grandchildren.He also leaves behind two sisters, Carolyn Busby, and Evelyn Horton and her husband, Dr. Bennett Horton. In addition to his wife,Mr. Vic was also preceded in death bya son-in-law, James Marks; four brothers: J.M. Hulme, Jr., Woody Hulme, Jack Hulme, and Harold Hulme;and a sister, Fannie Hulme. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Victor Hulme was held on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Dewy Rose Baptist Church, with Rev. Kenny Martin and Rev. Bill Vaughn officiating. Entombment followed at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Hicks Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Mr. Victor Thomas Hulme.
