Virginia Baggett Conwell

Mrs. Virginia Field Baggett Conwell, 93, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, November 17, 2019.

She was born in Elbert County and lived most of her life there. She was a lifelong member of Doves Creek Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and worked for Elberton Manufacturing Company.

She was preceded in death by two husbands H.V. (Davis) Baggett and Jake T. Conwell. Her parents were John and Ethel Webb Field. Her siblings were Vernon Field (WWII) Louise Anderson and Jessie Johnson. They all preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her granddaughter Lorrie Bolton.

She is survived by two biological children John Baggett (Martha) and Connie B. Morse (Stan) she is also survived by Larry and Pat Conwell, Jerry and Sherri Conwell and Regina and Steve Baughcum. She had numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are to be held at Doves Creek Baptist Church, Athens Highway, Elberton, GA with Rev. Michael Emmett officiating Thursday, November 21 at 2PM. Visitation will be at Doves Creek Baptist Church from 1:00-1:45PM just prior to the service.

Flowers are optional and memorials can be made in her memory to Doves Creek Baptist Church.
