Virginia Floyd Brown

Mrs. Virginia Floyd Brown, 92, of Pleasant Hill Rd., Martin, GA passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018.

Mrs. Brown was born July 15, 1925 in Elberton, GA to Harmon J. Floyd and Ruby Ray Floyd.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law: Linda Dale and Mitchell Stowe of Royston, GA, Helen and Floyd McCollum of Royston, GA, Debra and Jr. Stroud of Lavonia, GA; sister: Ellen (EJ) Ramey: brother: Williams “Bill” Floyd; grandchildren: Dexter Stowe, Brad McCollum, Jessica Russo, Brandon Stroud; great-grandchildren: Aaryah and Olivia Russo, Destiny, CJ, and Jenna McCollum.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: James Robert Brown; brothers: Walter J. Floyd, Dewitt Floyd, Huse Floyd, Lester Floyd, Melvin Floyd; sisters: Thelma Lunsford, Imogene Brown and Joyce Scarborough.

Graveside memorial services to celebrate her life will be held 2PM, Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Vineyards Creek Baptist Church in Comer, GA with Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating. The family will receive friends from 12-4PM, Saturday, February 10 at the home 2691 Pleasant Hill Rd. Martin, GA.
