Virginia Lee Libby

Mrs. Virginia Lee Libby, 69, of Mineral Springs Road, Elberton, wife of 50 years to Ted Libby, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2016, at her residence.

Mrs. Libby was born in Elbert County on December 19, 1946, to the late Lewis M. and Lois Scoggins Bell. She was a retired secretary having worked for Coldwater Timber Company and a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church. "Meme" was happiest when with her grandchildren, and enjoyed cross-stitching and crocheting.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Ted, of the home; children and their spouses: Marc and Suzanne Libby of Elberton, Allison and Tommy Bryant of Hull, Jennifer Libby and Corey Kirby of Elberton, and Erin Libby of Elberton; eight grandchildren; brother-in-law, Phil Libby and his wife Jane of Elberton; and sister-in-law, Nancy Mann and her husband Dennis of Elberton.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Brannon Bell.

Private funeral services celebrating her life will be held. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery.
