Virginia Terry Bobo

Virginia "Kay" Terry Bobo, 68, of 2222 Flagstone Road, Elberton, passed away Friday evening, January 27, 2012, at Athens Regional Medical Center. Ms. Bobo was born in Soperton, Georgia, March 22, 1943, to Annie Mae Derriso Terry and the late D.O. Terry. She was a homemaker and a member of Northside Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and David Phillips; son, Steve Bobo, all of Elberton; three grandchildren; her mother, Annie Mae Terry of Royston; and siblings, Jean Rice, Libby Watson, both of Royston, Frances Terry, and Charles Terry, both of Athens. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 2PM Monday, January 30, in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. David McConnell officiating. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery with Paul Gutierrez, Butch Watson, Jason Brown, Tracey Segars, Ross Phillips, and David Kiser serving as pallbearers. The Bobo family is at the home of David and Lisa Phillips, 2223 Harmony Road, Elberton, and will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9PM Sunday evening.
