Miss Claudia Vivian Bundrick, 79, of Elberton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Elbert Memorial Hospital. A native of Winnsboro, South Carolina, Vivian was the daughter of the late George Henry and Marian Margaret Brown Bundrick.She was also preceded in death by sisters, Ruby Almond and Ivy Jean Bundrick, and brothers-in-law, Jim Almond, Bernard Daniel and Pete Taylor, and a niece, Pam Almond. Vivian served as a Bailiff for the Elbert County Superior Court.She retired from the State of South Carolina’s Vocational Rehabilitation Disability Determination Department.She was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, where she served as Elder, and loved studying the Bible.Vivian was also a Pink Lady with the Elbert Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and also enjoyed working at McDonald’s after her retirement.She also loved gardening, raising many beautiful flowers. Survivors include four sisters and two brothers-in-law: Kathleen Daniel, Caroline Taylor, Bettie and Alvin Brady, and Mary and Jimmy Mercer, all of Elberton; and one brother, David Bundrick, of Elberton; several nieces & nephews, great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Miss Bundrick were held on Sunday, July 21st at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Bobby Baston officiating.Interment followed in Forest Hills Memorial Park with Deputies of the Elbert County Sheriff's Office serving as pallbearers. A time of visitation was held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 – 2:45 p.m. just prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Calvary Presbyterian Church, 131 Heard Drive, Elberton, GA;Friends Helping Friends, 1027 Micliff Drive, Elberton, GA;or State Street Baptist Church for the Casa Por Cristo Mission Fund at 1420 State Street, Cayce, SC 29033.
