Walter Charles Remlinger

Mr. Walter C. Remlinger, Jr., 73, of Elberton, Georgia passed away Thursday morning, May 21, 2015 at his home. Mr. Remlinger was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to the late Walter Charles and Gertrude Kane Remlinger.He was the husband of Linda Hanson Remlinger, having celebrated over 40 years of marriage together.Mr. Remlinger was a veteran of the United States Army, and a member of First United Methodist Church of Elberton. In addition to his wife, Linda, Mr. Remlinger is survived by a son: Lon David Remlinger and his wife, Debra, of Johns Creek; two daughters: Kristen McFarland and her husband, Mike, of Suwanee, and Kerry Michelle Remlinger of Seattle, WA.He also leaves behind four grandchildren: Ian Remlinger, Madelyn McFarland, William McFarland, and Reese McFarland; and siblings: George Remlinger and his wife, Beth, of Brookfield, WI, and Gail Henry of Ft. Atkinson, WI. The family will hold a memorial service to celebrate Mr. Remlinger’s life. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association at P.O.
