Wanda Faye Green

Mrs. Wanda Faye Armstrong Green, 79, of Ruckersville Rd., Elberton wife of the late Harold Lloyd Green passed away Monday, December 28, 2015 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Green was born June 12, 1936 in Fort Stockton, TX to the late Gaynor Armstrong and Will Cathryn Jacobs Armstrong. She was a member of Elberton First Baptist Church and was a retired dispatcher. Left to cherish her memories are sons Leslie Green of Bowman, GA, Roger Doyle Hoestenbach, Jr. of College Station, TX, sister Kayloma Yancy of Odessa, TX, grandchildren of the home Lexie and Kyle Green and numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by daughter Deborah K. Smith, daughter-in-law Christi Green and a brother Jerold Armstrong. Memorial services to celebrate her life will be 3PM, Saturday, January 2, 2016 in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Purvis officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3PM just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home.
