Wayne Whitehead

Mr. Wayne Whitehead, 70, of Elberton, Georgia, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021. Mr. Whitehead was a veteran of the United States Army.He served his country in the Vietnam War, and was a Purple Heart recipient.Wayne enjoyed working with plants and landscaping projects, and definitely had a “green thumb.”He also enjoyed spending time reading. Wayne is survived by his daughter, Gail Cobb, of Dewy Rose, and a grandson, Ayden Cobb. Funeral services for Mr. Whitehead were private. Arrangements for Mr. Wayne Whitehead were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
