Wendolyn Darlene Loftis Anderson Todd

Mrs. Wendolyn Darlene “Wendy” Loftis Anderson Todd, age 64, of 1772 Old Middleton Road, Elberton, GA, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Todd was born on June 4, 1957, in Albuquerque, NM, daughter of Maureen Shaw Chamblee and the late JW Loftis and the late Whit Chamblee. She was the wife of Tommy R. Todd and the late Walter N. Anderson.

Wendy was a graduate of Crescent High School and a former school bus driver and paraprofessional for the Elbert County School System. She dearly loved the faculty and students of Blackwell Elementary School and the students she drove on her bus. Wendy loved cooking and trying new recipes, and had the ability to make anyone laugh and feel like family. Her greatest love was her sons and grandchildren, and her favorite title was Nana.

Survivors, in addition to her mother Maureen of Starr, SC and husband Tommy of Elberton, GA, include her sons: Jason and Kristen Anderson of Elberton, GA and Cory and Ashley Anderson of Comer, GA; grandchildren: Mason Anderson and his girlfriend Heaven, Phillip Anderson, Hoke Anderson, Caitlyn Ray, and Drake Ray; siblings: Eddie and Sandra Loftis, Gary and Wanda Loftis, and Sandy Chamblee and Rob Burgess; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 1, from 6:00-8:00p.m.

Funeral services celebrating Wendy’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 2, at 11 o’clock in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Jamie Callaway officiating. Interment will follow in Middleton United Methodist Church Cemetery with Shea Loftis, Scott Loftis, Mason Anderson, Phillip Anderson, Jeff Burden, and Rick Higginbotham honored as pallbearers.
