Wilburn Larry Barker

Mr. Wilburn ‘Larry’ Barker, 64, of Raymond Anderson Road, Elberton, husband of 43 years to Kitty Marie Barker, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at his residence.

Larry was born in Waynesville, NC on September 14, 1955, son of the late Elijah Ray Barker and Magaliene Dyer Barker. He was a retired carpenter and enjoyed camping and fishing.

Survivors, in addition to Kitty, include his children: Wilburn Larry Barker, Jr. and Brandi, Timothy Scott Barker and Candice, Debra Jean Mackey and Jerry, and Maggie Maria Powell and Matt; grandchildren: Brittany Barker, Alicia Barker, M’Kayla Mackey, M’Kinzy Mackey, Natalie Barker, Austin Mackey, Chance Powell, Tyler Barker, Hannah Powell, and Alyssa Mackey; siblings: Betty Moses, Dearlene Rogers, and Harold Barker; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Destiny Jones; and brother, Eddie Barker.

There will be no visitation or memorial service.
