William Luke Anthony

William Luke Anthony moved to his heavenly home on August 31, 2024, at the age of 92, to join his beloved wife, Sue Jane Williams Anthony. 

He was the son of the late Olin Matthew Anthony and Ruby Pearl Wills Anthony of Jackson County Georgia.

He is survived by his children: Susan Nadine Anthony Wright and her husband Dwain of Madison, AL, Naomi Carol Anthony Palmer and her husband Gary of Winterville, GA, and Natalie Jane Anthony Brooks of Winterville, GA, and Thomas Mark Anthony and his wife Jonie of Athens, GA. 

He had 9 grandchildren: Nathan Wright, Jeremy Palmer, Amber Wright-Nelson, Nicholas Palmer, Tony Carleo, Sarah Carleo, Jennifer Anthony, Julie Anthony, and Turner Brooks; and 9 great-grandchildren: Luke Nelson, Cana Nelson, Kristy Palmer, Ruuk Lancaster, Alec Palmer, Izzabella Palmer, Amery Palmer, Kaya Carleo, and Rocco Carleo.

He had 3 siblings who preceded him in death: Jack David Anthony, Ralph Anthony, and Bobby Lee Anthony

William Luke Anthony retired from Athens Regional Hospital where he worked as a Pharmacist.
