William Michael Bowen

William Michael "Mike" Bowen, 46, of 1374 Fairfax Circle, Elberton, passed away Thursday evening, January 5, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospice House in Bogart, Georgia. Mr. Bowen was born in Gainesville, Georgia, December 16, 1965, to Ira William Bowen and the late Margaret Oldham Bowen. He was a Quarry Ledgeman in the granite industry. Left to cherish his memories are his fiancé and her children, Tanya Clamp of Elberton and Michelle and Jackson Clamp, one daughter, Brittney Bowen of Elberton, and four siblings, Patricia Womack of Grayson, Georgia, John Oldham of Elberton, Donald Bowen of Elberton, and Johnny Ray Bowen of Gwinnett County, Georgia. The family has chosen cremation, and memorial services celebrating his life will be held at 2:30PM Tuesday, January 10, in the Fortsonia Baptist Church.
