Willie Ray Boyd, Jr., 57, of Peachtree Industrial Blvd., Buford, GA formerly of Elberton passed away Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Pruitt Healthcare. Mr. Boyd was born January 14, 1957 in Raysal, W.VA to the late Willie Boyd,Sr. and Ivory Gladys Sweeney Segers. Left to cherish his memories are his children Renee Elizabeth Oveido and Kristen Marie Oveido both of Elberton, GA; siblings Alma Smith of Elberton, GA; Betty Edwards of Elberton, GA; Lynn Hufstetler of Elberton, GA; Judy Segars of Pickens, SC and Roy Segers of Dewy Rose, GA; and eight grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-father John Roy Segers. Memorial services to celebrate his life are incomplete at this time.
