Wilton Tucker, Jr.

Mr. Wilton “Pete” Charles Tucker, Jr., 57, of Elberton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2011 after injuries received in an automobile accident. Mr. Tucker was born in Greenville, SC, son of Mary and Wilton Tucker, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Mary J. Bowman, and a son, Douglas E. Tucker, both of Elberton, GA.Mr. Tucker is also survived by 3 sisters: Judy Tucker, Joann Tucker, and May Cruthirds, all of Greer, SC;two brothers, Jimmy Tucker of Lyman, SC, and Richard Tucker of Elberton, GA; and a step-sister, Lorena B. Newton of Gaffney, SC.He also leaves behind a special friend, Jeannie Jones of Greer, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate Mr. Tucker’s life will be Friday, July 8, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at The Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home.Visitation for family and friends will be held at 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.Rev.
